About the DMTF
We are excited to announce that the Denver Mask Task Force has joined forces with Colorado Face Mask Warriors to support supply-chain efforts throughout rural Colorado as well as the Denver Metro Area. We now have stitchers and drop-off locations throughout the state.
The Denver Mask Task Force came about when one of our founding members met the head of infectious disease from a local hospital at Joanne Fabric. The head of infectious disease was looking for mask patterns and researching fabric for her team.
We thought that the head of infectious disease shouldn't have to be researching mask patterns and fabric for her team during a medical crisis with a shortage of medical providers. We heard her cry for help and the Denver Mask Task Force was formed.
We then linked up with Crafters for a Cause who have been making masks for medical providers for 10+ years since the outbreak of H1Nl when the founder was living in Japan. Her organization is the leader in research of patterns and fabrics and we are following her lead.
We have over 1100 requests for masks from medical providers directly. We are supplying a direct need and request for masks by providers on the front line. Our mission is to get masks into the hands of every front-line medical provider who wants one. This includes:
